What the work covers

  • New pours and footings

    Formed, poured and tied to the drawing. Square corners, and the grade checked before and after.

  • Crack repair and underpinning

    A crack is a symptom. We look for what moved and why before we fill anything.

  • Waterproofing below grade

    Membrane lapped properly down the outside face, because the cheapest place to stop water is outside the wall.

  • Drain tile and window wells

    Perforated pipe bedded in washed stone at the footing, running somewhere it can actually discharge.

When to call us

You do not need to know what is wrong. Any of these is reason enough to send a photo — and if the honest answer is “nothing yet”, that is the answer you get.

  • Stair-step cracking through brick or block, especially near a corner
  • Doors and windows that have started sticking in the same part of the house
  • A damp smell in the basement that does not clear
  • White powdery deposit on basement walls
  • A floor that has developed a slope you can feel

The written 25-year guarantee covers roofing and groundworks. Foundation work is guaranteed too, but under separate terms that depend on what we find in the survey — and we would rather tell you that here than have you discover it in the paperwork.
