What the work covers

    Failed mortar raked out to depth and repacked, matched to the joint and the age of the brick. Skim over the top and it is back within a season.

    Rebuilt crowns, reset caps and flashing — a chimney is the first thing on the house the weather gets to, and the last thing anyone looks at.

When to call us

You do not need to know what is wrong. Any of these is reason enough to send a photo — and if the honest answer is “nothing yet”, that is the answer you get.

Freeze-thaw is patient, and it always wins on a bad joint

Water gets into an open mortar joint, freezes, and levers the brick apart a fraction at a time. Repoint it while it is still mortar and it is a small job. Leave it until it is the brick, and it is a big one.
