What the work covers

  • Full tear-off and re-roof

    Old material off, decking checked board by board, anything soft replaced before new goes down. We do not roof over a bad deck.

  • Storm and wind damage

    Missing shingles, lifted ridge, hail bruising. We will make the roof safe first and price the repair second.

  • Flashing, valleys and chimneys

    Most leaks are not the field of the roof. They are the joints — and the joints are where we spend the time.

  • Drip edge, gutters and ventilation

    Water has to get off the roof and air has to move under it. A roof that cannot breathe fails early, guarantee or not.

  • Emergency make-safe

    If it is open to the sky we will get it covered before we talk about anything else.

When to call us

You do not need to know what is wrong. Any of these is reason enough to send a photo — and if the honest answer is “nothing yet”, that is the answer you get.

  • A water stain on a ceiling, even a small one that has stopped growing
  • Shingles or shingle pieces in the yard after a windy night
  • Granules collecting in the gutters or at the bottom of downspouts
  • Daylight visible through the roof boards from inside the attic
  • A roof past twenty years that has never been looked at properly

Most roofs we are asked to replace do not need replacing this year

A roof with ten good years left is a roof with ten good years left. We will tell you that, in writing, and you can call us when it changes. Being told the truth costs you nothing and is the reason people call us back.
